  THE PRIME MINISTER
 
The Prime Minister of India happens to be te most powerful person of the Government of India in practice. However the Hon'ble President of India surpasses the Prime Minister being the Head of the State. But it has been found time and again that in realm of parliamentary democracies the duties of the Head of the States happen to be ceremonial. On the contrary the role of the Prime Minister appears to be at the zenith when there is the question of the implementation of the responsibility of the government. He/she also is the Chairperson of the National Planning Commision that has been instrumental in the economic advancement of the country.
